Consultation:
Our personal approach to consultation and design ensures that our highly experienced team delivers your project on time and within budget.
We always have a briefing meeting with clients to discuss in detail the project. It is fundamental that we thoroughly understand your expectations and to make sure that your questions are satisfactorily answered.
Our team will carry out a thorough survey of the proposed project site to assess the physical and environmental issues. We can then recommend a proposal and specification tailored for your individual project.
Construction:
Serfis Construction and Engineering Limited will never commence a project without first preparing project specific method statements and risk assessments. Once these have been finalised and approved our team will hold a pre-start meeting with you to make sure that everything is in place for the start of construction.
Our operatives will receive a site induction briefing to ensure they are familiar with all health & safety rules and site-specific policies. Before beginning any ground works or civil engineering activities, we will conduct a computer aided tomography scan (CAT scan) to identify all buried services on the site.
Completion and Handover:
Our project supervisor will conduct a detailed snagging inspection of the site. We will then carry out any remedial work identified before meeting our client on site for a final inspection of the work, quality assurance checks and official handover.
As required under CDM Regulations our team will create a detailed CDM Health & Safety file that will be handed over to the client. At this point, we will agree the final account with the client.
On-going Maintenance:
All work that Serfis Construction and Engineering Limited carries out is covered by an agreed maintenance period during which we take care of any upkeep the project may require. At the end of that agreed maintenance phase we will return to the site with the client to determine whether additional maintenance works are required.

Health and safety is a fundamental component of Serfis Construction and Engineering Limited’s work processes and is at the heart of our strategic planning. We believe that robust health and safety training is the cornerstone of a successful workforce within our industry and as such, we ensure that our employees is familiar with our health and safety statement and trained to the highest possible level in health and safety practices.
With our experience within the civil engineering industry, Serfis Construction and Engineering Limited are well qualified to identify, evaluate and manage all health and safety risks within the workplace.
We utilise our highly skilled, Sentinel and CSCS / CPCS registered employees to ensure the highest levels of safety at all Serfis Construction and Engineering Limited sites. The company is ISO45001:2018, SSIP and RISQS certified.
